I must admit I have a sweet tooth. To be honest, I have a whole mouthful of sweet teeth. I am therefore always looking for new and delicious sugar-free alternatives to all the sugar loaded treats I am craving.
Here is one of my latest sugar-free indulgences.
Ingredients
4 oz Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
(Lily’s Baking Chips Dark Chocolate, Lakanto Sugar Free Chocolate Chips, 365 Sugar Free Dark Chocolate chips all work well)
½ cup pecans
½ cup flaked coconut
2 oz unsweetened condensed milk, coconut milk(full fat) or 1 oz almond milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl melt chocolate over pot of boiling water or use microwave.
- Add milk and stir until smooth.
- Stir in pecans and coconut flakes.
- Fill silicone or paper muffin liners about 1/2 inch deep.
- Chill in freezer for 1 hour.
- Store these chocolate treats in freezer.
- Enjoy!
Important! While these delicious treats are better for you than their sugary, high-carb alternatives they are still treats. Don’t over-indulge! Even a low-carb dessert becomes a high-carb dessert if you eat too much of it.
