I initially created this for a quick Lox and Bagel breakfast, but soon turned it into a low-carb appetizer/snack.

Ingredients:

16 oz – Cream Cheese (softened)
8 oz – Lox (Nova cut into 2’ pieces)
3 Tbsp – Capers
¼ Tsp – White Pepper
¼ Tsp – Smoked Paprika
¼ Tsp – Garlic Powder
1 – English Cucumber
Additional capers

Instructions:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth and completely blended.
  2. Place in piping bag with large open star tip.
  3. Slice cucumber into ¼ inch thick rounds or ovals.
  4. Pipe lox spread onto cucumber rounds and top with whole caper.

Note: This spread can also be used on a low-carb bagel for breakfast. Add sliced red onion and tomato if desired.
